I will be traveling to Costa Rica with 25 other teachers from around the country November 2011. Students will have the opportunity to investigate this country and the environmental issues around it before I go, follow me on my journey once I am there and follow up once I return. This website will offer links for their research and space for their questions & projects, as well as a place for my pictures and stories. This trip is sponsored by Toyota International Teacher Program whose mission is to offer teachers intensive environmental education opportunities that they can share with their students.
I hope to work with our Spanish Humanities, Modern World History, Biology, and Environmental Science classes on this project.
