Sounds like a fun trip! Earth University is great! Make sure you buy some yogurt. : ) Sarapiqui is also one of the most beautiful and rainiest parts of CR, so much so you have to arrive/travel around by boat, which is unique experience. Hopefully you will see some crocodiles sun bathing! I absolutely love it there. Haven’t been to Guacimo in particular but the Caribbean is nice. And of course, Arenal is wonderful. I imagine you will do a volcano hike, beware that it is very unlikely that you will be able to see the lava flow on the night hike (although they show you a nice picture, it is usually cloudy and you can’t see a darn thing). But we hiked during the day and got close enough to see falling rock. Come to think of it, one of my friends did see something on the night hike, so it is possible, but just unlikely. When you are in La Fortuna, if you don’t want to pay for expensive hot springs, ask a taxi driver or your tour guide to take you to the spot under the bridge (lovely, hot, and free). Also, it is fun to Zipline if you have never done it and are feeling adventurous!
